Oops! NFT Investor Burns $135k CryptoPunk in Desperate Loan Attempt

In a shocking turn of events, an NFT investor accidentally burned their CryptoPunk worth $135k while trying to borrow money.

• The CryptoPunk in question was one of the rarest in existence, with a market value of $135k.

• The investor was attempting to borrow against the NFT, but instead of lending, they accidentally sent the NFT to a "burn address".

• A burn address is a destination where the cryptocurrency or NFT is sent and becomes irretrievable.

• The investor is now left with no NFT and no borrowed funds.

• However, there was a twist to this story, another NFT investor gifted him an earlier version of the same CryptoPunk #685 but that NFT lives on the Bitcoin blockchain.
