Mattel, company behind Barbie and Hot Wheels, rolling out NFT Marketplace

Mattel is rolling out a new NFT marketplace for NFTs as it looks to expand its footprint into the digital collectibles business. 

Here are the quick facts:

  • Mattel will launch its NFT mareketplace on Flow blockchain, called Mattel Creations.

  • Fans will be able to buy digital art tied to products like Hot Wheels and Barbie.

  • They want to create an ecosystem where they translate iconic Mattel Intellectual Property (IP) into digital art.

  • Mattel has previously sold out $25 Hot Wheels NFTs which include a voucher for a physical die-cast model.

Saudi Arabia's NFT collection "The Saudis" soar after soccer victory against Argetina

We are only a few days into the FIFA World Cup in Qatar but it has already made many excited for many reasons. Sales for the Saudia Arabia-themed NFT collection "The Saudis" soared 386% on Tuesday following the contries surprise 2-1 victory over tournament favorites Argetina. 

Here are the quick facts:

  • "The Saudis" are a 5,555 NFT collection whose artwork is a derivative of the famed CryptoPunks.

  • Its floor price soared over 386% after Saudi Arabia defeated Argetina in the world cup.

  • The floor price currently sits at 0.236 ETH.

HUXLEY Launches Final NFT Collection

Web3 franchise, HUXLEY, is releasing comics of human and robot NFTs onto the blockchain in what appears to be their final ever release.

  • You can redeem the comics for physical versions of the characters.

  • You can purhcase either type of the virtual avatar on OpenSea!

  • 💸 This NFT was sold by Chain CEO Deepak Thapliyal.

  • 💰 The current owner of this NFT owns multiple Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs.

  • 🕶️ Some of this NFTs unique features include its Hat, Skin, and Robe.

Who said the NFT market is dead. This is just the second BAYC that sells for over 950k within a week.
