Scottish superproducer and DJ Calvin Harris has announced a virtual performance that will take place later this month on TikTok LIVE.

  • The concert will be free to view in 2D through his official TikTok account, while some fans in Europe and Asia can experience the concert in 3D through PICO VR headset.

WARNING: Fake Pokemon NFT Game Spreads Malware

Massive warning to those looking to download a specific kind of Pokemon game. A phishing website offered a Pokemon NFT game. However this is anything but legitimate. Upon downloading, the software spread malware to unsuspecting gamers' desktops.

Although the website has been taken down, you should still be on the lookout for projects masking their evil intentions through Web3.

Here are the quick facts:

  • This website offered a "Pokemon NFT game". They also claimed to offer an NFT marketplace where players can buy tokens and stake their NFTs.

  • All you had to do was download the software. Sounds pretty innocent right, nope!

  • Instead of downloading a game, users were downloading a remote access tool that allowed hackers to take control of their devices.

  • A South Korean cybersecurity firm AhnLab warned the public about the website on Jan 6th.

Always make sure to research any project and only click on official links. The last thing you need is to start 2023 on the wrong foot.

Logan Paul Apologizes to Coffeezilla

Can anything good come out of CryptoZoo, maybe? For those who have been living under a rock recently we'll recap the events that transpired.

Logan Paul supported a CryptoZoo NFT project but it turned out to go down south fairly quickly. As a result, Logan Paul was accused of scamming investors. Insert Coffeezilla, a critic of Paul's NFT project.

Here are the quick facts:

  • Coffeezilla accused Logan Paul's CryptoZoo NFT of being a giant scam.

  • Paul initially tried to deflect the situation by calling Coffeezilla "Loopsided" and a "journalist with an agenda."

  • After new evidence came to light, Logan Paul seemed to backflip on his initial stance.

  • Paul also repotedly called Coffeezilla to apoligize to him and admit he will be "taking accountability."

Looks like there is a sweet end to a story after all.
