SBF Faces Criminal Charges, Restoring Faith in the Crypto Community
Sam Bankman Fried was arrested in the Bahamas on Monday! That outta restore some faith in crypto.
As new things are being shed to light, the FTX collapse was due to internal error rather than the crypto market as a whole. Phew, thank goodness!
Here are the quick facts:
SBF is being charged with a multitude of charges not related to crypto.
Some of the charges are money laundering and wire fraud.
If found guilty and convicted he could face over 100 years in prison.

Jimmy Fallon, Paris Hilton sued over promoting Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs
We all remember that interview between Jimmy Fallon and Paris Hilton, when they both were shilling NFTs. Well, they both are now part of a class action lawsuit against dozens of celebrities who promoted the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFTs along with its parent company Yuga Labs.
Here are the quick facts:
According to the plaintiffs, Yuga Labs schemed with celebrities to artificially pump up the price.
Celebrities like Madonna, Kevin Hart, Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg, Fallon and Hilton among others have been named in the lawsuit.
The lawsuit claims that Oseary, Madonna's talent manager, recruited celebrities to join in order to pump the price.
